Niecy Mae is the great-niece of Sadie Mae, Tina's old dog from many years ago. Sadie was so incredible that when she was sadly lost to old age and a heart disorder, Tina immediately started the search for another
dog (from the same pedigree) to take up where dear old' Sadie had left off. Tina located Sadie's nephew John in Montana, who had just been bred to Jen. Then the wait began. A few months later the little fluff ball Niecy Mae was born. Although she is
no Sadie Mae, she is so unique in her own way that we'll some day say (about whomever takes up after where Niecy leaves off) that she's no Niecy Mae.
Niecy is the most enthusiastic and dedicated companion around the horses! She LIVES to go the
barn with Tina. She loves to be loved on and will put her nose under anyone-close-enough's hand or arm and flip it up onto herself. This is her not so subtle way of saying "Um excuse me. You're not doing anything with that hand right now. Why not use
it to pet me!" LOL! She prefers to CONSTANTLY have someone touching her. Well, atleast all of the time that she's not busy staring at the horses. When around the horses, she is ALL business. You will see her on the Live "McFoal" Cam often. And in
many of the "McFoals" pictures. The horses have come to ignore here and see her as a fly (just part of a horse's life). They pay her buzzing-around-them no attention. Except for the occasional momma who thinks she gets a leeeeeeetle too close to her
baby. LOL!
Below are some pictures of Niecy Mae vacationing in the mountains of Idaho. If there are no horses in sight (which there weren't on that weekend), then she is all business about fetching sticks. Even if it means sticking her head
into a freezing cold creek! LOL! In one photo, you'll see her awesome pal "Buddy Boy". He is Rick's faithful companion and a rescue. We found him beaten, scared, starving and in need of a home. After intense emotional rehabilitation, Buddy has
turned into wonderful, loving and appreciative guy. He's been a SUPER addition to our family. And he has no trouble being bossed around by Niecy! LOL! We hope you enjoy the pictures of whom we so fondly refer to as our "Border"
